Nishida with chimp ToshiboAlong with scores of others in the primatology field, The Leakey Foundation mourns the passing of Dr. Toshisada Nishida. Dr. Nishida was a pioneer in the study of chimpanzees in the Mahale Mountains of Tanzania.
