Summer Virtual Travel Series: Argentina

The first event in the Summer Travel Series takes you to Argentina for a behind-the-scenes virtual tour of the Owl Monkey Project with Dr. Eduardo Fernandez-Duque and Dr. Claudia Vellegia. Get an insider’s view of fascinating multi-disciplinary research, and learn about the habitat and behavior of monogamous owl monkeys from the world’s foremost experts. You will also learn about the flora and fauna that make up the characteristic ecosytem of the Humid Gran Chaco region.About the tour
• The tour will begin at 5 pm Pacific with a performance of Argentine tango and folkloric music by Guillermo Garcia.
• Dr. Fernandez-Duque and Dr. Valeggia will give a presentation about their research and lead you on a virtual tour of their field site in Argentina.
• Following the presentation, you will have the opportunity to interact with the scientists in a lively question and answer session.
