Behind every Leakey Foundation discovery is a researcher in the field and a donor who made the work possible. When you give through your DAF, you join a community of supporters who help scientists do fieldwork, train the next generation, and share that science with the world.

What is a donor-advised fund (DAF)?

A donor-advised fund (DAF) is a charitable giving account that gives you the flexibility to support The Leakey Foundation and other charities you care about. DAFs simplify your giving, offer tax advantages, and make it easy to give strategically to the work that matters most to you.

Quadruple your DAF impact

When you give through your DAF, Jorge and Ann Leis and the Ann and Gordon Getty Foundation will match your gift, quadrupling your support for human origins research and education.

How to use the DAF Direct form

Select the sponsoring organization from the “Donate now from” field.
Enter the amount (in US dollars) you would like to recommend in the “Amount” field.
Click on the “NEXT” button to proceed to the sponsoring organization’s website to complete your donor-advised fund transaction. Please note, you will be directed to an external website to complete your transaction.
If you have a DAF with a sponsoring organization not represented on this list, you can still recommend grants to The Leakey Foundation by using our Federal Tax Identification Number: 95-2536475
