From the Field: Alexandra Uhl

In the spring of 2014 The Leakey Foundation awarded Alexandra Uhl, PhD candidate from the University of Tübingen in Germany, a research grant for her project entitled “Sex determination in geographically and ontogenetically diverse samples.”  To read a short summary of her work on our blog, click here

Recently she got in touch with us with a short update. Following the pictures you will also find a copy of the poster she presented!

I presented my research (in poster format) at the 2015 ESHE (European Society for the study of Human Evolution) conference in London this September for which I got an ESHE student travel grant. I gave a talk at the StEvE conference in October in Tübingen, Germany, where I won 3rd place for best speaker. Attached are a few photos.
