The Leakey Foundation invites you to join the second in our series of free science communication webinars with Sara ElShafie, a global change biologist and science communication consultant.

Sara ElShafie

Sara ElShafie a PhD candidate in the Department of Integrative Biology at the University of California, Berkeley. Her research, based at the UC Museum of Paleontology at Berkeley, investigates climate change impacts on animal communities over time. She also works at the intersection of science and entertainment to make science accessible and exciting for the masses. She developed her science communication workshops in conjunction with storytelling experts from Pixar. She has led workshops at university campuses, museums, zoos, and conference venues across the continent over the last several years.
