Dr. Petraglia’s archaeological research is interdisciplinary and has centered on subjects concerning human evolution\, including the evolution of cognition\, the evolution of behavior\, and the relations between climate change and hominin dispersals.  \nHe has conducted archaeological field projects in Africa and Asia\, primarily in the Arabian Peninsula and the Indian subcontinent.
