Browne reflects on Darwin’s life and times. \nBrian Hare is a professor of evolutionary anthropology at Duke University. Hare explores the Darwinian road to morality. \nYohannes Haile-Selassie is the Curator and Head of Physical Anthropology at the Cleveland Museum of Natural History and a Leakey Foundation grantee. He has made some of the most significant early human fossil discoveries in the history of paleoanthropology. Haile-Selassie reflects on the fossil evidence for human evolution. \nAgustín Fuentes is a professor of anthropology at Princeton University. Dr. Petraglia’s archaeological research is interdisciplinary and has centered on subjects concerning human evolution\, including the evolution of cognition\, the evolution of behavior\, and the relations between climate change and hominin dispersals.  \nHe has conducted archaeological field projects in Africa and Asia\, primarily in the Arabian Peninsula and the Indian subcontinent. Do apes learn sex roles\, too\, or is gender uniquely human? \n  \nIn Different\, primatologist Frans de Waal s de Waal discusses insights into the origins of sex and gender from studies of both human and animal behavior. Different provides a thought-provoking review of the long-running debate about the origins of sex and gender. De Waal peppers his discussion with details from his own life – a Dutch childhood in a family of six boys and decades of academic turf wars over outdated scientific theories. He also discusses sexual orientation\, gender identity\, and the limitations of a strict binary.
